BIOGRAPHY
Vinyl Richy is a DJ, producer, and turntablist based in Kansas City, MO, with over 20 years of experience in DJ’ing, remixing, and beatmaking. His journey began in 1999 with an Akai MPC-2000XL and a belt-drive turntable, sparking a lifelong passion for music.
With over 3,000 performances across the Midwest and West Coast, Vinyl Richy has built a reputation for his high-energy sets and deep musical knowledge. He was a top-selling remixer/editor on CrooklynClan.net, moving over 20,000 remixes between 2008 and 2015 alongside longtime collaborator CEO.
Expanding into house music, he launched OFDM Records (Open Format Dance Music), an independent label highlighting various styles of house and dance music, featuring artists from over 20 countries worldwide.
In addition to producing and DJ’ing, Vinyl Richy has carved out a space in the streaming world. He regularly spins live on Twitch, where he curates unique DJ sets, including his flagship show, Wu Wednesday Show—a deep dive into the legacy of the Wu-Tang Clan, featuring exclusive remixes, classics, and hidden gems.
With a relentless drive to evolve, Vinyl Richy continues to push boundaries in DJ’ing, music production, and digital content, bringing his passion for music to both live and online audiences
